On September 26, students collected 100,000 hryvnias for the military at the charitable event “Student Initiation” at the Pototskiy Palace. The funds were directed to the SaveUkraineNow (SUN) Coordination Center that supports Precarpathian units on the front lines. The event is traditionally organized by the Professional Committee of Students and Post-graduate students of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. The event brings together young people from different universities in Ivano-Frankivsk and is considered the unofficial start of the academic year.
“We organize “Student Initiation” every year. It has already been a charitable event for two years. We gather together to help our defenders”, says the organizer, head of the Professional Committee of Students and Postgraduates of PNU Nazariy Diuk. “This year, thanks to the work of our team and the support of partners and volunteers – teachers and students of our university – we were able to collect 100,000 hryvnias for the military. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event.”
