The University’s Team of Scientists Won the Grant Competition of the NATO Program “Science for Peace and Security”

A team of scientists from the Department of Materials Science and New Technologies of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of the Precarpathian National University, together with scientists from the University of Brescia (Università degli Studi di Brescia, Italia), as part of the NATO program “Science for Peace and Security”, won a grant for the implementation of the project “Ultra-durable and Efficient Nano-engineered Fuel Cells (URANUS), G6166.”

The “NATO – Science for Peace and Security” program is aimed at deepening the dialogue and practical cooperation between NATO member countries and partner countries, in particular Ukraine, on the basis of scientific research, technological innovations of a civilian nature and the exchange of knowledge in order to contribute to the achievement of key goals of the Alliance and his partners. In addition to the application of scientific developments in the military sphere, the development of information technologies, biotechnology, issues of environmental protection, rational use of natural resources and the development of new materials are priorities.
