By decree of the President of Ukraine, Emeritus Professor of the Precarpathian National University, Ivan Klymyshyn, was awarded a lifetime state scholarship as an honoured worker of education. Ivan Klymyshyn is a doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Ukraine, a member of the International Astronomical Union (1964) and Scientific Society named after Taras Shevchenko (1992), an honorary member of “Prosvita” (1995) and the Ukrainian Astronomical Association (UAA, 2000). The award was granted to him in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 606/2023 “On the awarding of lifetime state scholarships to honoured workers of education”.
