On November 8-10, 2023, Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpatian National University Igor Tsependa, being a member of the delegation led by Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Oksen Lisovyi, visited Berlin, the Federal Republic of Germany. The delegation took part in the events in honour of the 30th anniversary of scientific and technical cooperation between the two countries.
During the past 30 years, Ukrainian scientists and their German counterparts have implemented more than 200 projects and held dozens of meetings, conferences, and forums. Their results — a solid foundation of cooperation between Ukrainian and German universities, research institutions, and innovative enterprises, — as well as further joint collaboration were discussed in Berlin.
On November 8, 2023, Oksen Lisovyi, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, and Bettina Stark-Watzinger, Federal Minister of Education and Research of Germany, signed the “Joint Declaration of Intent on Cooperation in the Field of Science, Technology, and Innovation”.
